    2. Permitted Circumstances: Male entry is allowed only in exceptional situations, specifically health-related emergencies, inspections by authorized officials, and essential maintenance/repair works that cannot be managed by female staff.
    3. Prior Approval: For all non-emergency situations, explicit prior approval must be obtained from the Principal before any male member is permitted to enter.
    4. Mandatory Escort: Any authorized male visitor must be accompanied at all times by the Female Hostel Warden or another designated female staff member.
    5. Restricted Access and Timings: Male members are only allowed in designated common or outer areas of the hostel. Entry into private spaces such as dormitories, living rooms, washrooms, or dressing areas is strictly prohibited. Permitted entries must ordinarily take place during school working hours, except during emergencies.
    6. Visitor Register: A Hostel Visitor Register must be meticulously maintained, recording the visitor’s name, designation, purpose of visit, entry/exit times, and signatures of both the visitor and the escorting female staff member.
    7. Maintenance and Repair Works: When male technicians are required for maintenance, students must be temporarily relocated to another area. The work should preferably be carried out during school hours under the direct supervision of the Female Hostel Warden or designated female staff.
    8. Code of Conduct: All male members entering the hostel must maintain professional and appropriate conduct, respecting the privacy and dignity of the girl students.
    9. Emergency Situations: In case of sudden health or security emergencies, male staff may enter, but a female staff member or the Female Hostel Warden must be present, and the entry must be recorded in the Visitor Register immediately afterward.
    10. Disciplinary Action: Any violation of these guidelines will attract strict disciplinary action under the relevant provisions of the Conduct Rules. These instructions apply strictly to everyone, including individuals other than school officials.

    12. Confidentiality of Internal Affairs: Staff must not engage with external individuals to discuss internal school affairs, raise grievances, or influence the functioning of the institution. Any act causing misinformation or disruption will be treated as misconduct.
    13. Proper Channel for Grievances: All grievances, concerns, or official matters must be raised strictly through the proper institutional channels. Under no circumstances should internal issues be taken outside the institutional framework.
    14. Disciplinary Liabilities: Any staff member found violating these instructions or affecting institutional harmony will face strict disciplinary action under applicable service and conduct rules, which may include suspension or the issuance of a charge sheet.
    15. Role of Nodal Officers and Principals: State Nodal Officers must disseminate these instructions across all EMRSs in their jurisdiction. Principals are required to sensitize their staff on maintaining institutional decorum, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.
    16. Clearing Vegetation: Immediate clearing of grasses, shrubs, bushes, and unwanted vegetation must be carried out around hostel premises, academic blocks, waterlogging-prone areas, and playgrounds. This must be followed by regular fortnightly maintenance.

    18. Lighting and Cleanliness: Adequate lighting and strict cleanliness must be maintained around the hostel premises, with special monitoring directed toward drainage, garbage disposal areas, and storage spaces.
    19. Monitoring Snake-Prone Spots: Snake-prone or vulnerable spots within the campus must be identified. Wardens or housekeeping staff must conduct daily inspections, apply snake-repellent chemicals in these areas, and maintain a register for the Principal’s weekly review.

    1. Medical Readiness & Awareness Camps: Immediate medical attention must be provided in any suspected or confirmed snakebite case. Principals must also coordinate a Preventive Health and Awareness Camp on campus involving a qualified medical officer, focusing on environmental hygiene and first-aid readiness.

    3. Action Taken Report (ATR): A brief Action Taken Report (ATR) along with photographic evidence of the measures taken must be submitted to NESTS HQ via the designated Google Form within seven (07) days of the circular’s issuance.
